You may know Tour de Tietema from the YouTube challenges during the Tour de France, the new cycling team TDT-Unibet or from the adventures that founders Bas, Devin and Josse experience on the bike themselves. Turning the cycling world upside down is their mission and they extend that into everything they do.

The challenge that Tour de Tietema and AA Drink have taken on together fits in nicely with that mission. Can you ride The Ride - an eight-day tour totaling 1,300 kilometers, with 17,000 vertical meters between the Stelvio (Italy) and the Cauberg (the Netherlands) - with only 80 days of preparation? Devin and his friends Freek and Mark are stepping out of their comfort zone and believe it can be done.

AA Drink provides sports drinks for Devin, Freek and Mark and helps them on their way to that big goal. They get the right building blocks during their preparations, as well as refreshment during strenuous efforts and that which encourages proper recovery after each ride. You can follow the adventure of the three friends closely via the series 'The ride of our lives' on YouTube.

October 2021 marks the start of an impactful partnership between the Johan Cruyff Foundation and AA Drink. This collaboration does not come out of the blue, because the values of both partners - AA Drink and the Johan Cruyff Foundation - fit together seamlessly. AA Drink has been working for years out of love for sport for all the local sports clubs in the Netherlands with the aim of getting everyone moving. Unfortunately sport and play are not self-evident for every child. Not all children have the opportunity to exercise, for example due to a disability, insufficient financial resources or a lack of space. The Johan Cruyff Foundation gives children the space to play sports and exercise, to develop personally and to make friends. Because every child should be able to play sports and especially have fun. We are therefore pleased to be preferred supplier of the Johan Cruyff Foundation for the next 2 years and to contribute our part!

Golazo is an international sports and health company. Golazo's mission is to create a healthier and happier society by getting everyone to exercise at least 30 minutes a day. That is why Golazo organises more than 200 sporting events every year for both pros and amateurs with a focus on cycling, running and walking. Like Golazo, we at AA Drink want you to get enough exercise every day so that you get the best out of yourself. For that reason, AA Drink provides all participants with our isotonic sports drink during and after the Golazo events. This way, we ensure that lost minerals and carbohydrates are quickly replenished. Through the Boost platform, we can also help participants in advance with their preparation, and afterwards with tips for the desired recovery.

Every year, Le Champion organises about 60 sporting events. Cycling, running and walking are central to this. Some examples are the Egmond-Pier-Egmond, the Ronde van Noord-Holland and the Saxo Bank Dam tot Dam FietsClassic. For running, they organise the NN Egmond Half Marathon, the Dam tot Damloop and the TCS Amsterdam Marathon. Together with Le Champion, we aim to inspire as many sporting individuals as possible – young and old – and to facilitate sports whereby fun and personal top performance go hand in hand. AA Drink is therefore present at many sporting events with our Isotonic sports drink.

AA Drink is one of the first founding partners of KNLTB Padel. The partnership was signed during the Decathlon Copa de Padel in Utrecht. Padel is officially part of the KNLTB since July 2020. AA Drink has signed an agreement to work with the KNLTB for the next three years to further develop the padel sport in the Netherlands.
